The first week of 2009, though full of new surprises supplied by the global economy, gave me the chance to take a look at our achievements in 2008. Internal beginning of the year meetings were approaching and all our employees were expecting management's plan for 2009. I wanted to take advantage of these meetings and try as much as I could to keep this feeling of satisfaction regarding projects in which we all gave our best!

Instead, we will see more true partnerships on people development. The years of training sessions just for doing training, as a motivational tool with - hopefully - some added value to individual performance are over. In the coming years training will be focused on showing results, measurable results.
